Itinerary

Arrive in Queensland’s vibrant capital and settle into your central accommodation. Spend your afternoon exploring the Botanic Gardens, strolling along South Bank, or enjoying the buzz of Queen Street Mall. This evening, enjoy a relaxed dinner at one of Brisbane’s many riverside restaurants.

Depart Toowoomba and journey through the heart of the Darling Downs towards Roma, known for its cattle history and country charm. On arrival, consider joining the optional Explore Roma Tour, where you’ll discover the area’s oil and gas heritage, the impressive Big Rig, and learn about local Indigenous history.

Travel deeper into Outback Queensland as you drive west to Quilpie. Pass through Mitchell and stop at the Great Artesian Spa for a soothing dip. Continue on to the welcoming Toogunna Plains Farmstay just outside Quilpie.

A scenic drive today takes you to Cunnamulla, a charming outback town rich in history and artesian culture. Explore local attractions like the Cunnamulla Fella statue or the Artesian Time Tunnel, and experience true country hospitality. (B)
 

Spend the day exploring Cunnamulla, a laid-back outback town set on the banks of the Warrego River. Discover local attractions such as the Cunnamulla Fella Centre, enjoy a walk along the river, or simply soak up the relaxed country atmosphere.

Spend the day immersing yourself in outback life. Visit the Cunnamulla Fella statue, explore the Artesian Time Tunnel, or relax with a paddle on the river. Enjoy dinner as part of your accomodation package.

Journey east through small towns and wide plains to St George, nestled beside the Balonne River. Upon arrival, you can walk the riverside trail or visit the Unique Egg, a local attraction showcasing intricately carved emu eggs.
